MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION Item 10a Ordinance No. 1490, Approvinq Case PUD-90-7, the Application of Jay and Kyounq Ku for Planned Unit Development Rezoninq and Development Plan Approval for a Senior Care Facility Mr. Mercer stated that he had been requested to clarify the condition regarding occupancy. He indicated that the intent of the motion was to limit the occupancy to a maximum of 70 residents, whether private or semi-private. Mr. Butler concurred. He commented that although he supported the motion, he was opposed to that provision because it eliminated the possibility of having any semi-private rooms which would provide lower rental costs. Mr. Tarver reiterated that he would prefer to have Council indicate to the applicant what it would support and have the applicant determine what kind of design the project should have, especially since there would be no point in having rooms which may not be utilized. It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1490 be adopted, approving Case PUD-90-7, the application of Jay and Kyoung Ku for planned unit development rezoning and development plan approval for a senior care facility as filed under Case PUD-90-7.
