151 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to Establish Preliminary <br />Alignment and Street Cross-Sections for Stanley Boulevard fromthe <br />First Street Brid~e to California Avenue and for Del Valle Parkway <br />from the Stanley Boulevard-First Street Intersection to Bernal <br />Avenue <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 90:496) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler stated that since Amador Savings and Loan <br />Association is still associated with the project under Item 6e - <br />PUD-90-14, Joseph W. Callahan, which may be impacted by the outcome <br />of this project, he would abstain from any discussion on these two <br />matters due to a conflict of interest. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Stanley Rathbone, 325 Ray Street, stated that Stanley <br />Boulevard does not have any traffic problems at this time and <br />proposed that the money be utilized instead for the water mains on <br />Main Street. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer indicated that a project that is being proposed for <br />Stanley Boulevard would require the street to be widened and would <br />be paid for by the developer. He explained that what is being <br />discussed at this time is the alignment of the road. <br /> <br /> Mr. Leo Heckathorn, 4202 Stanley Boulevard, commented that the <br />road alignment would go through his property. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that what is being considered at this time <br />is East Stanley Boulevard by the First Street Bridge and that any <br />future widening of Del Valle Parkway would affect the parcels <br />behind the commercial and industrial properties east and south of <br />East Stanley Boulevard.
