Mercer called the Special Meeting of the City <br /> Council to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> ~,, 2. ROLL CALL <br />< City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded <br />Z as follows: Councilmember Frank C. Brandes, Jr.; Robert E. Butler, <br /> Karin Mohr, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Staff members present <br /> were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City <br /> Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development; and Joseph Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities. <br /> <br /> 3. RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 6, 1990 <br /> GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br /> <br /> Ms. Ezidro presented her report (SR 90:465) regarding the <br /> matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Mr. Brandes, that <br /> Resolution No. 90-221 be adopted, canvassing the election returns <br /> and declaring the results of the November 6, 1990 General Municipal <br /> Election, as set forth in the Staff Report. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 4. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer presented Mr. Brandes with a key to the City and, <br /> on behalf of the City, expressed his appreciation to Mr. Brandes <br /> for serving in the City Council, from 1976 to 1980 and from 1982 to <br /> 1990. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes thanked Mr. Mercer and stated that he would not <br /> have been able to devote so much of his time and energy to the <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> 12-04-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
