He explained that he <br />had voted "no" on the project the first three times but had voted <br />"yes" on the final vote because he looked at the monies that would <br />go to the schools, the widening of Foothill Road, the off-ramps and <br />the bridges, rather than at the project's adverse effects, as he <br />had done earlier. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes indicated that he wanted to comment on Item 4i and <br />requested that it be considered under MATTERS INITIATED BY <br />COUNCILMEMBERS as Item 8f. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as clarified <br />and modified, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of plans and specifications and authorization to <br /> call for bids for Project No. 887060, the construction of <br /> McKinley Park. (SR 90:406) <br /> <br /> d.-e. Adoption of Resolution No. 90-188, approving the <br /> installation of three-way stop signs on Rose Avenue and <br /> Fair Street (SR 90:402), and on Arthur Drive and Virgil <br /> Circle.
