57 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> OCTOBER 16, 1990 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 7:30 p.m. A Boy Scout Troop was present to <br />observe the meeting and led the assembly in the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmember Frank C. Brandes, Jr., Robert E. Butler, <br />Karin Mohr, Ben Tarver, and Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer. Staff members <br />present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael H. Roush, City <br />Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Joseph Elliott, Director of Public Works and <br />Utilities; Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community <br />Services; and Chandler Lee, Principal Planner, Department of <br />Planning and Community Development. <br /> <br />3. AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta requested that Item 6a - PUD-90-7, Application of <br />Jay and Kyoung Ku for Planned Unit Development Rezoninq and <br />Development Plan Approval be continued to the November 20, 1990 <br />City Council Meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes requested that Ordinance No. 1486 - Approval of <br />McDowell Application fPUD-90-3) be corrected, and the Minutes <br />amended accordingly, to reflect the request of the East Bay <br />Regional Park District (EBRPD) to be added to Condition No. 5. He <br />further requested that the Minutes be modified to include some of <br />the relevant statements he had made with respect to the issues on <br />affordable housing. <br /> <br /> 4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver recommended that the City monitor the cost per <br />square footage of the project under Item 4~ - Approval of Regional <br />Sewer Expansion Fund Contribution to Dublin San Ramon Services <br />District Administration Building ProSect. He then stated that he <br />wanted to go on record that he made a mistake in voting for the <br />final approval of the project under Item 4i - Approval of Final <br /> <br /> 10-16-90 <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
