456 <br /> <br /> September 18, 1990 City Council Meeting at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Item 7c, Z-83-193-2M, S~nol Center Associates and .Callahan <br /> Property Company - remove from the Agenda. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta then requested that an item be added to the Agenda <br /> under CITY MANAGER'S REPORT as Item 12a, Labor Relations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes stated that Item 6d, Manoj Dave, has been <br /> continued for the past four weeks and recommended that the <br /> applicant be notified that October 2nd would be the final <br /> continuation to be granted regarding the project. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes then requested that the completion date for Item <br /> 4g, the construction of a bike path/sidewalks along the east side <br /> of Sunol Boulevard and on the south side of Bernal Avenue to <br /> provide access to the new Pleasanton Middle School on Case Avenue, <br /> be thoroughly publicized in the newspapers as well as at the new <br /> Pleasanton Middle School for the information of the parents of the <br /> Middle School students. <br /> <br /> With regard to Item 4k, Approval of the City's Participation <br /> in a Countywide Low-Income Housing Bond Program for Seniors, <br /> Disabled Persons, Homeless Families with Children, and First-Time <br /> Homebuyers, Mr. Brandes asked Mr. Roush for his opinion regarding <br /> whether the Program meets Article 34 requirements as it relates to <br /> the funds being spent within Pleasanton. He further inquired if <br /> the vote of the people would be required for a project that would <br /> be funded partially by the bond issue and partially by another <br /> source of funding within the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated that she had received some information from <br /> the County Counsel's office indicating that the bond election would <br /> meet the City's Article 34 requirement. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer suggested that the item be discussed under SPECIAL <br /> AND INFORMATION REPORTS as Item 7f, since it would require an <br /> ex~ensive discussion in which the audience may want to participate. <br /> <br /> 4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended, be <br /> approved: <br /> <br /> ao Approval of City Council Minu~es for 8/21/90 and 8/22/90. <br /> <br /> b.
