Water Rationinq Mr. Stanley Rathbone, 325 Ray Street, inquired how the water rationing program proposed by the State would affect Pleasanton. Mr. Mercer replied that that would be the responsibility of Zone 7, the agency that provides water to Pleasanton. Ms. Acosta stated that she met with the Director of Zone 7, who indicated that the State is looking at a specific amount of water rationing on a statewide level, even if some areas may have sufficient water supply. She added that Zone 7 will be sending the City some materials regarding the issue. Siqns Mr. Rathbone stated that the restaurant and service station signs should be high enough to be seen by motorists travelling along the 1-580. Mr. Mercer pointed out that nothing more can be built on the intersection of 1-580 and Hopyard Road or Santa Rita Road.
