18 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that <br /> Resolution No. 91-08 be adopted, determining that the matter of <br /> advancing $3,000 for the Pleasanton Jaycees project arose after the <br /> Agenda was posted and adding it to the Agenda. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was then moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, <br /> that Resolution No. 91-09 be adopted, approving an advance of <br /> $3,000 for the Pleasanton Jaycees project. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Powell thanked the Council for its support. <br /> <br /> Water Rationinq <br /> <br /> Mr. Stanley Rathbone, 325 Ray Street, inquired how the water <br /> rationing program proposed by the State would affect Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer replied that that would be the responsibility of <br /> Zone 7, the agency that provides water to Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated that she met with the Director of Zone 7, <br /> who indicated that the State is looking at a specific amount of <br /> water rationing on a statewide level, even if some areas may have <br /> sufficient water supply. She added that Zone 7 will be sending the <br /> City some materials regarding the issue. <br /> <br /> Siqns <br /> <br /> Mr. Rathbone stated that the restaurant and service station <br /> signs should be high enough to be seen by motorists travelling <br /> along the 1-580. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer pointed out that nothing more can be built on the <br /> intersection of 1-580 and Hopyard Road or Santa Rita Road.
