215 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Mr. Tarver stated that he was not in favor of the project <br />because, as he has indicated in the past, he did not agree with the <br />Medium Density Residential designation in the area. He continued <br />that he believed the Planning Commission minority is correct that <br />the area is too dense down to Sunol Boulevard and that the <br />configuration does not support three lots. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br />Ordinance No. 1510 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-90-21, the <br />application of Roy Thompson for PUD rezoning and development plan <br />approval for a three-lot single-family custom home development on <br />a 0.98-acre site located at 6240 Sunol Boulevard, as set forth in <br />the Staff Report, with the modification of Condition No. 11 of the <br />Conditions of Approval to reflect that the cul-de-sac shall be a <br />private street and shall not remain open for use by the public for <br />turnaround purposes. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Ruby Hill Preannexation Aqreement (SR 91:211) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim McKeehan, representing Signature Properties, <br />6612 Owens Drive, stated that the 1603-acre Ruby Hill Project, <br />which has been in the development process for three years, is a <br />joint venture between Signature Properties and Nicklaus/Sierra <br />Development Corporation, whose Principals are Mr. Jim Galmetti, <br />President of Signature Properties, Mr. Bob Sierra and Mr. Jack <br />Nicklaus of Nicklaus/Sierra Development Corporation, and himself. <br />He then presented some slides on the project. <br /> <br /> Mr. McKeehan indicated that the Ruby Hill project was <br />presented to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors for a General <br /> <br />Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared in 1989 and an <br /> <br /> - 5 - <br /> 6-4-91 <br /> <br /> <br />
