99 <br /> <br /> She stated that the AAAPedestrian Pretention Program began in <br /> 1937 with the goal of giving special attention on pedestrian safety <br /> and engineering, public information and school education. <br /> Pleasanton first participated in this program 1967 and this is <br /> Pleasanton's first award of excellence. There are only 27 cities <br /> receiving this award this year. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer accepted the award on behalf of the City and gave <br /> credit to Police Chief Eastman, and Mr. Elliott and their staff. <br /> <br /> 6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br /> Item 6a <br />PUD-89-1-1M, Far West Associates/Stoneridge Place. ADDliCatiOn for <br />~ maior modification to an approved Planned Unit Development and <br />Growth Management Program Exemption to allow the construction of <br />~ix single-family attached dwelling units (duets) on an <br />approximately 0.541 acre site located on the southerly corner of <br />Stoneridge Drive and Stone Point Way. Zoninq for the property is <br />PUD (Planned nit Development) - Medium Density Residential/High <br />Density Residential District. (SR91:457) <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Lou Baldacci representing Far West Associates, agreed with the <br />Staff Report. He briefly reviewed the circumstances leading to <br />this request for a major modification and a growth management <br />exemption for 6 units. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br />It was then moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr to adopt <br />Resolution No. 91-187, exempting the proposed project from the <br />City's Growth Management Program and amending the Growth Management <br />Project allocation for 1990. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 1530 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-89-1-1M, development <br />plan for 6 single-family attached dwelling units on an 0.54 acre <br />site. <br /> <br />11/5/91 <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
