179 Mr. Butler commented that the Growth Management issue with this project is very difficult on all parties involved. He could not support extending the deadline for the Growth Management Ordinance for this project. It seemed that if these difficulties with Growth Management were going to continue, then perhaps there should be a major change to the process. It was agreed by Council to take no action on the EIR until the project came back for approval. It was moved by Mr. Tarver, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that Resolution No. 92-71 be adopted, denying the appeal of a denial of 1) a General PlanAmendment to change the Land Use Designation from General and Limited Industrial to Medium Density Residential; and 2) Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval for a 52-unit, single-family detached residential project, on an 18.6 acre site located at the southeast corner of the Sunol Boulevard intersection with Interstate Highway 680 in Pleasanton. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: Councilmember Butler ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that Resolution No. 92-72 be adopted, adopting a resolution of intent to amend the General Plan to change the land use designation for this property to low density residential, to be considered in June.
