MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br /> Item 8a <br /> Consideration of Three-Way Stop at Blackbird and Willowten Way <br /> (SR92:63) <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer explained the route followed by drivers in the <br /> Blackbird Way area. His concern was once drivers follow this route <br /> to get to a main street they pick up speed. He indicated that <br /> there was a crosswalk located on the corner of WillowTen that was <br /> never used because it wasn't safe due to speeding vehicles. He <br /> suggested that a three-way stop sign be placed at that corner. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Mr. Tarvet, <br /> that Resolution No. 92-36 be adopted, adding a three-way stop at <br /> Blackbird and WillowTen Way. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Scribner, Tarvet and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Butler and Mohr <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 2/4/92 <br /> 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
