MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1562, Amendinq the Pleasanton MuniciPal Code <br />R®qardinq Siqns on Main Street <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer referred to Section 1B of the staff report and <br />asked what it meant. He felt that all of the downtown signs should <br />come back to Council for review and that each sign should be <br />reviewed on its own merit. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift stated that the section was referring to the color <br />and the construction of the sign. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner referred to Subsection C and asked if this meant <br />that a non-conforming historic sign was permitted to remain the way <br />it non exists. <br /> <br /> There was discussion regarding the meaning of "historic" and <br />changing of the texts of signs. <br /> <br />6/16/92 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
