The City of
Pleasanton indicated to the County that Pleasanton could not
receive less revenue than the cost of service. The majority of the
County Board of Supervisors was not comfortable with the 25% but a
proposal was finally made that has a phased tax distribution. For
the first year the City would receive a 20% tax distribution, the
second year there would be a 22% tax distribution and the third
year there would be 25%. In the interim, Signature Properties
would make up the difference to the City. Ms. Acosta was
comfortable with recommending this proposal.

Mr. Butler asked if all subsequent years were at 25%.

Ms. Acosta answered yes.

Ms. Mohr asked if the County had voted on this.

Ms. Acosta stated that it gave the County Executive
authorization to enter this agreement.
