190 Item 12e Report on Recommendation to Form Official Economic Advisory Committee (SR92:479) Mr. Tarver asked if it were possible to expand the Committee to add a member from downtown and a citizen at large. Mayor Mercer agreed. He suggested that representatives from Stoneridge Mall and downtown, a residential developer and a financial representative also be added to the Committee. Ms. Mohr suggested a representative from both small and large retail businesses be included. She believed that a committee should have an odd number of members. It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that Resolution No. 92-220 be adopted, approving the formation of a 10 member Economic Development Committee as follows: Chamber of Commerce, business park, commercial brokerage, Stoneridge Mall, downtown, industry, City Council, residential builder, financial representative, and citizen at large. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None 13. REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Item 13a Consideration of Amended Pre-Annexation Agreement for Ruby Hill Project (SR92:459) Jim McKeehan, Signature Properties, appeared to answer any questions that Council might have. Mr. Tarver indicated he had opposed this in the past but the County has put the City in this situation and the City basically does not have any recourse. He hoped that the tax sharing agreement would resolve the problems associated with serving the development. It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, authorizing the City Manager to sign an Amended Preannexation Agreement for the Ruby Hill Project. 11/17/92 16
