140

Item 9q
Tri~ValleV Transportation Council

Mayor Mercer asked if the Tri-Valley Transportation Council
had discussed the local share at the last meeting.

Mr. van Gelder believed that the subject would come up at the
next meeting, scheduled for October 28, 1992.

Item 9k
Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority

Mayor Mercer reported that at the recent LAVTA meeting, there
was discussion of possible route changes. A few seniors spoke
about Routes 2 and 4. The LAVTA consultant believed that the buses
would not be able to pull into the new Senior Center because it was
not bus acceptable. Therefore, the buses would have to drop people
off on Sunol Boulevard in front of the Center. Mayor Mercer spoke
with Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services,
and confirmed that LAVTA would be able to pull into the Senior
Center and then reported this information to LAVTA. LAVTA will be
rerouting drop off passengers at the Senior Center. He was aware
that LAVTA would not service the area beyond Santa Rita and Valley
Avenue. It was decided that LAVTA will also reroute to accommodate
those seniors living beyond that area.

Ms. Mohr stated that one of the items of concern was the
expected completion of the link between Case Avenue and Sunol
Boulevard. She asked if staff would forward some type of
communication to LAVTA so the Board could respond.

Ridgelands

Mayor Mercer indicated that he would be unable to attend the
2:00 p.m., October 23, 1992 Ridge meeting. He asked that Mr.
Tarver attend the meeting.

10. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION

Item 10a
Ordinance No. 1579, approving the application of Chang Su-o Lin
(Kottinqer Hills) for development plan approval as filed under Case
PUD-91-13 (SR92:427)

Mayor Mercer asked if Council needed to vote to consider the
item this evening.

Mr. Roush answered no.

10/20/92 10
