91 <br /> <br /> Sharrell Michellotti, Mayor's Affordable Housing Task Force <br />member, spoke in favor of this project. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Tarver declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if the $35,000 from the coordination of the <br />unit sales is money that would be paid by the City. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian explained that the money would be an appropriation <br />of City funds. A mechanism may be established so that the $5,000 <br />per unit is repaid to the City at the time of sale. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver requested 1) to delete "moderate" terminology <br />from the agreement, 2) to include that preferential criteria is <br />already established, and 3) that Rotary should provide accounting <br />of any "savings" and its subsequent use of funds. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Mr. Pico, that <br />Resolution No. 93-26 be adopted, approving the Purchase and Sale <br />Agreement for the sale of the 0.56 acre City-owned parcel of land <br />at Concord Street and Palomino Drive tothe Pleasanton RotaryNorth <br />for a sales price of $1.00; approving the Restrictive Covenant, <br />Resale Restrictions and Option to Designate Eligible Purchasers; <br />approving the Option to Purchase Agreement with Pleasanton Rotary <br />all of said documents to be to be in a final form as approved by <br />the City Attorney; and appropriating $320,509 from the City's Lower <br />Income Housing Fund. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as <br />AYES: Councilmembers Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Adjustment to Water Rates (SR93:70) <br /> <br /> Sue Rossi presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked why Pleasanton rates are lower than the Dublin <br />San Ramon Services District. <br /> <br /> Steve Cusenza explained the City's pumping ground water <br />pumping has an effect it has on some of the rates.
