He wanted to discuss whether or not <br />Council needs to process applications since the maximum number of <br />units has nearly been reached. <br /> <br />9, CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br /> a. Alameda County Congestion Management Agency <br /> b. League of California Cities <br /> c. East Bay Regional Park District Liaison <br /> d. Alameda County Mayors' Conference <br /> e. Metropolitan Transportation Commission <br /> f. Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility <br /> <br /> No action was required or taken bythe Council onthese items. <br /> <br />10. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were none. <br /> <br />11, LEGISLATIVE UPDATE REPORTS <br /> <br />Status Report on State Budaet (SR93:63) <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver suggested that each Councilmember write a letter <br />to the State Representatives. He objected to what the State is <br />doing to the cities each year. He would rather have it report a <br />firm source of funding rather than year by year. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner felt that a letter from the Mayor only should be <br />sent first. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Mr. Pico, to <br />authorize the Mayor to sign the proposed letter to Pleasanton's <br />State Representatives. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 02/16/93 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
