35 <br /> <br />Item 12e <br />Item 4i <br />Review the bids and award the contract for construction of a <br />softball concessions building to Park Land Associates, Marina, for <br />a low bid of $53,813.20. (SR93:07) <br /> <br /> Due to the lateness of the hour, this item was continued to <br />the next agenda. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver pointed out that the mock-up on Main Street had <br />been changed to begin at 10:00 a.m. rather than 8:00 a.m. and new <br />notices had been sent. <br /> <br /> He further stated that Karin Mohr will be the representative <br />to the LivermoreAmador Valley Transportation Authority instead of <br />himself, so Karin and Tom Pico will be the representatives until <br />the election, when the new Councilmember will assume the duties. <br /> <br /> The San Francisco Water District workshop has been rescheduled <br />to February 9, 1993 instead of the workshop of January 12th. That <br />workshop will continue with the other issues regarding procedural <br />items. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked if an advertisement was placed for the Economic <br />Development Committee. Ms. Acosta indicated staff had wanted to <br />wait until after the holidays and there were a couple of issues <br />regarding membership that need clarification. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr discussed the League Workshop for new Councilmembers. <br />She was interested, Mr. Pico was interested, and the newly elected <br />councilmember would certainly want to go. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico discussed a League workshop in San Mateo at the end <br />of this month and inquired what it was. Ms. Acosta encouraged him <br />to attend and indicated the City pays for the cost to attend. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver urged staff to comment on the final East Dublin <br />EIR, especially regarding traffic and how it affects Pleasanton. <br /> <br />14.
