Rouse and Associates <br />Apnlication for a minor modification to remove the existinn eucal_votus trees from the rear <br />landscane strip (adjacent to the Arroyo Mocho} location at 5860 and 5880 West Las Positas <br />Blvd. The application includes renlacement of these trees with alternative s~ecies 0R93:75) <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico was concerned with removing the number of trees as requested. He would like <br />to receive more information on this matter before making a decision. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr recalled that the Eucalyptus trees along the Arroyo Mocho require a lot of <br />water therefore causing bank failure, etc. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift agreed that these trees are very water hungry and would not be a tree that <br />would be normally allowed under the water conservation ordinance. These types of trees will <br />no longer be approved in the new developments in the Hacienda Business Park. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico suggested having an overall policy for the Park rather than handle it case by <br />case.
