195 <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico then moved, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt the Pleasanton Ridgelands Area <br />Plan Initiative as in Attachment 4 with a modification to section 1 (c) to authorize entering into <br />the agreement to coordinate policies, to include a new section regarding Measure M, and a new <br />section regarding repeal or amendment only by the vote of the people. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: Councilmembers Mohr and Scfibner <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr was not comfortable with the prospect that Hayward or Alameda County could <br />force Pleasanton to hold elections. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Mr. Pico, to add language that proposed <br />changes to the City's General Plan would be considered at the next regularly scheduled election <br />to be held in the City of Pleasanton, and no more often than annually. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Mr. Pie, o, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt the <br />following ballot language: <br /> <br /> "Shall the Pleasanton General Plan be amended by adopting the Pleasanton <br /> Ridgelands Area Plan which authorizes Pleasanton to coordinate land use planning <br /> of the Plan Area with Hayward and Alameda County.' <br /> <br />The r011 C~l vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Molar, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />08/04/93 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
