Mr. Swift answered that mailings <br /> were being sent to Castro Valley, Sunol and surrounding areas and the public is being noticed <br /> through the newspapers. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner suggested using box ads to notify the public of the meetings because of the <br /> timing. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver suggested that the deadline be July 30. This would enable Council to take <br /> action. Mayor Tarver was concerned that the Committee will need more time. He wanted to <br /> do everything possible to get the recommendations through the process even if it meant changing <br /> the process and asking the Planning Commission to have a special hearing before the Council <br /> meeting on the 30th. <br /> <br /> There was discussion on the size of the membership of the Steering Committee. <br /> <br /> 07/06/93 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
