Ms. Mohr asked if there ~ areas that~he development potential to be forced into Zone 7's territory as seen with EBMUD. Mr. Swift explained the difference in legislation between Zone 7 and EBg. The area closest to Tracy but in Alameda County, does have the potential. Mayor Tarver asked if Zone 7 would be obligated to provide water to North Livermore if asked by the County. Mr. Swift explained that area is in Zone 7's service area whereas, El!MUD is asked to annex area that is not curren~y in its service boundaries. It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 93-87, be adopted, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton requesting the Board of Directors of Zone 7 of the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (Hereafter Zone 7) to allocate existing contracted supplies based on the needs established by the approved general plans of the cities wig the Livermore-Amador Valley.
