Approve the amendment to the contract for consultant services with Karen <br /> Bartlett, for one year from December 7, 1992 to December 7, 1993. (SR93:208) <br /> <br /> n. Approve the Lease Agreement with Platon/Tulancingo Sister City for open <br /> and unused space located at 200 Old Bemal Avenue. (SR93:213) <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as f0110WS: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarvet <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> A presentation was made by Marvin Dalander, BART Project Manager for <br />Dublin/Pleasanton Extension (DPX). Mr. Dalander explained the status of the project and <br />described the various stages and when they should be complete. <br /> <br /> There was general discussion on the financing, cost to build, and time of build out. <br /> 7:30 p. ra. <br />12. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> An unidentified speaker, a Pl~nton crossing guard, was concerned not oniy with losing <br />her job but for the safety of the children as well. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarvet explained that public hearings will be scheduled to discuss this matter as <br />well as the whole State budget and how it will effect the City. He assured the audience that <br />Council has not taken any action on this matter nor will it until public hearings are held. <br /> <br />14. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Item 14a <br />Pleasanton Downtown Association Lev~'_ of Annual Assessment for 1994 <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico abstained from this item because he is a member of the Downtown Association. <br /> <br /> Sue Rossi, Director of Finance, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarvet declared the public hearing open on the application. <br /> <br />05/18/93 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
