A unified, comprehensive approach to services and funding is needed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, opposing the proposed <br /> Alameda County amendments to the County's Business License Tax on Waste Disposal Facility <br /> Operators and directing staff to communication Council 's position to the Alameda County Board <br /> of Supervisors. <br /> <br /> Th~ r011 call Vote was as followS: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: Councilmember Pico <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6b <br /> Resolution Aporovin~, Pleasanton Railroad A~sociation's Histori~ Corridor Enhancement <br /> Proiect Anplication for Interm0del Surface Transportation Effi~iCn~:y A~t (ISTEA) l~nds <br /> (SR93: 182) <br /> <br /> Bill van Gelder, Traffic Engineer, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta suggested that Council review this application, if it still is conceptually <br /> supporting the Railroad, to eliminate any confusion before it comes to Council for approval. <br /> <br /> There was general discussion on the ISTEA Grant process and the timing of this <br /> application. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr was concerned that a lot of staff time and effort was going towards this project <br /> that may not be funded. She understood that many applications are not considered high priority. <br /> <br /> Mr. van Gelder said that this project was rated *medium" on the priority list.
