REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />ItmTa 7a <br />Adoution Of Council Rules and Procedures (SR93:192) <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner a~ite~! that the following be added to the procedures: 1 ) When there is a <br />subcommittee, both members of the subcommlm"~: are to be pres~t when substantive di~~ <br />oc~r and 2) all Councilmembe~ are informed if a Councilmember appeals an item outside of <br />th~l~ll~r meeting. <br /> <br />'~, Mayor Tarver ~slc~ that these requests be referred to staff for the appropriate wording <br />and'returned at a later date. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr aslmd for clarification on what institutes a quorum. She also believed that the <br />procedure for continuing agenda items after 11:30 p.m. should include the entire balance of the <br /> <br /> Concerning the quorum issue, Mr. Roush explained the intention of the rule but felt that <br />it would be better understood if there was an ordinance which explains how attentt~nce can be <br />compelled and what the penalties are. <br /> <br /> Council agreed to have staff draft an ordinance and bring it back for consideration. <br /> <br /> There was general discussion on how items are to be placed on the agenda by <br />Councilmembers and by the public. <br /> <br />05/11/93 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
