47 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico to deny the project. The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked for clarification on the community park. There is no question it is <br />needed, but until there is a Park and Recreation Commission review, it is difficult to know how <br />best to spend the money. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver indicated we don't have to say how to spend the park dollars now, we just <br />want to be sure the location is committed. <br /> <br /> Council then discussed where the funding could come from for the park improvements. <br />Mr. Tarver stressed that he would not approve the project without the park commitment. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico suggest the item be continued until a meeting with the Park and Recreation <br />Commission and an analysis of the CIP budget and priorities are concluded. He also wanted to <br />get further public input. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ghielmetti suggested putting the matter over to the next meeting on October 12th. <br />He believed he understood Council's intent and due to the lateness of the hour, it was better to <br />try to resolve the issues after the meeting. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scribner, seconded by Ms. Mohr, to continue the matter to the <br />Council meeting on October 12, 1993. <br /> <br />Th~ roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pie, o, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 14c <br />RZ-93-6.
