24 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 93-116, be <br /> adopted, to deny the City Council appeal (AP-93-7) thereby upholding the approval of the <br /> Zoning Administrator of Case PUD-81-30-34D-2M, the application of Rouse and Associates; <br /> and to direct staff to bring back a PUD modification for a blanket approval to allow other <br /> property owners within the Hacienda Business Park to remove and replace existing eucalyptus <br /> <br /> Tho roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6c <br /> U_ixlate on Unreinforced Masonry Buildin_~_s (SR93:354) <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico would like to keep pressure on those who are affected by this ordinance and <br /> encourage them to respond to it. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver believed that if people do not comply with this ordinance, no fee waiver <br /> or other extension should be allowed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner felt that if the City hires licensed engineers to perform the required building <br /> analysis, a property owner who does not comply by the deadline should not be let 'off the <br /> hook'. She felt that if the owner does not comply by the deadline, then the occupancy permit <br /> should be revoked. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta suggested that Council review these situations on a case-by-case basis. <br /> Council always has the right to revoke the occupancy permit if conditions warrant. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to extend the Unreinforced <br /> Masonry Building Ordinance deadline until October 17, 1993, for the submission of the building <br /> analysis; for those property owners who do not comply by October 17, 1993 deadline, City staff <br /> would hire licensed engineers to perform the required building analysis, the cost of which the <br /> property owners would be required to pay. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 09/07/93 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
