He felt there was a <br /> need for a broader vision regarding the transportation needs for this area. He said two solutions <br /> have not ever been discussed. 1 ) Extending BART through Pleasanton along the 1-680 into San <br /> Jose or 2) put a divider on the 1-680 so five lanes could be used going south in the morning and <br /> then five lanes can be used going north in the afternoon. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver indicated that there is a transportation forum at CARR America on Friday <br /> for anyone that would like more information. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked if Item 6d, 6e, 6f had to be heard this evening. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta felt Item 6e would only take a few minutes and Items 6d and 6f was up to the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to hear all the items on the agenda. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />PUD-98-08, Passport Homes <br />Application for Planned Unit Development rezoninll and development plan approval of an <br />aDnroximately 64-acre lot into six new single-family residential lots, one lot for the existin~ <br />residence, and one open space lot, located at 11115 Dublin Canyon Road. The propert3? i.~ <br />prezoned PUD (Planned Unit Development} I,F}R/RDR/PHS (Low-Density Residential/Rural <br />Density Residential/PublicHealth and Safety} District. (SR99:76) <br /> <br />Also consider the Negative Declaration prepared for the project. <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked if all the acreage for the parkland had been accepted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said the East Bay Park District has indicated that it will accept all the acreage. If <br />they do not accept all of the parkland it would remain as open space and privately owned. The East <br />Bay Park District wishes to review the geologic issues with the existing road that provides access to <br />the existing house. A study has been done and will be reviewed as a condition of this PUD.
