Ms. Dennis asked what the timing was for the community survey. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta said a draft list of questions would be brought before Council shortly. She said <br />when there are a number of ballot measures before the community it is not the best time to do a <br />community survey. A better time might be next spring. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Ayala asked for public input. <br /> <br /> There were no speakers on this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Mr. Pico, to adopt the City Council <br />priorities for 1999/2000. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Pico. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSENT: Mayor Tarver. <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked if the Council was comfortable leaving the East Pleasanton Study where it <br />was placed on the priority list. <br /> <br /> There was consensus to leave the plan where it was on the priority list. <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />Appointments to the East Pleasanton Study Committee. (SR99:114) <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta clarified that the recommendation is for Council to decide first if the East <br />Pleasanton Study is to proceed at this time. If the Study is to proceed, then the Council should <br />determine if the Mayor' s appointments will be ratified. <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked if a specific scope of work had been determined. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said the Council established the scope of work as being everything included in <br />the General Plan, such as: land use, airport issues, traffic congestion, park issues, storm drain <br />issues, etc. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Ayala asked for public input. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 14 04/20/99 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
