It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 94-81 be adopted, establishing certain policies for the November 8, 1994 Municipal Election; authorizing the City Clerk to consolidate the municipal election with the statewide general election; the Statement of Qualifications remains at 200 words; that candidates are charged for printing and mailing their Statements of Qualification; the City will not send any additional materials to the voters other than the sample ballot/voter pamphlet; and in the case of a fie vote, the City will have a special run-off election. Item 8c Request for Council position to forward to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors regarding San Ramon Planning Commission (SR94:234) Mayor Tarver described the Commission's responsibilities. He believed that disbanding this Commission did not lend itself to public process. There was generai discussion regarding the Commission and its responsibilities. It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, directing staff to send a letter to the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors supporting the existence of San Ramon Planning Commission.
