Gary Schwaegerle, 189 W. Angela Street, thanked the City planning staff for their review
of the plans and architectural suggestions.

Neil Nostrand, 4698 Second Street, indicated he had worked with the school district on
the plans for the facility and he believed it was an enhancement to the school and neighborhood.

Sharrell Michelotti, 7873 Olive Court, inquired about the difference in height between
the new facility and the existing buildings. She was informed there was a difference of only
three feet. Ms. Michelotti encouraged the School Board and City Council to continue to work
together.

Ms. Haugen conveyed her appreciation to the School District staff and City staff for their
time and cooperative efforts.

Mr. Tarver asked which building would contain classrooms for training and instruction.
Mike Ananos responded that classrooms would be included in graphics, data processing,
warehouse and maintenance facilities. It was also indicated that the classrooms would be utilized
by the students and teachers of the District's Regional Occupational Programs (ROP). In
addition, the classrooms can be used by the Amador Valley Adult School.

Mr. Tarver also inquired if the State Architect had reviewed the plans. Dr. McCurtain
indicated only the City Building Department had reviewed them.

Mr. Pico inquired regarding the hours of operation and was told the hours would be the
same as they currently are, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ms. Mohr asked if there would be any vehicle maintenance outside the buildings and the
reply was that the vehicle maintenance facility is being designed to support inside vehicle repair.

Ms. Dennis asked if the roof was to be painted. Mr. Ananos indicated the roof would
be painted similar to the Harvest Park gym, however, the decision on color had not yet been
made.

Ms. Mohr asked about notice to the Homeowners Association regarding the proposal.
Dr. James indicated that a meeting was held with the Homeowners Association Boad of
Directors, and the District assumed the Association had notified all of its members.

5. DEL PRADO PROPERTY - DISCUSSION

Dr. McCurtain indicated the property has been declared surplus. The next step is to
advertise the property and allow sixty days for any public agency to express interest. If no
public agency expresses interest, then the property will be advertised for sale to any interested
party. At this time the property has not been advertised, so the sixty-day period is not running.

5/31/94 - 2 -
