This item was continued to the June 7, 1994 City Council meeting. <br /> <br /> q. Adopt Ordinance No. 1625, amending Pleasanton Municipal Code, Section 17.24. <br /> <br /> r. Approve the application of the Pleasanton Downtown Association to hold a <br /> Downtown Antique Faire on Sunday, May 22, 1994. (SR94:161) <br /> <br /> s. Adopt Resolution No. 94-57, adopting Fiscal Year 1994-95 Provisional <br /> Appropriation Limit. (SR94: 167) <br /> <br /> t. Proclaim May 18, 1994 as Adult School Day. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta pointed out that although Item 4r recommends that the Downtown Association <br /> reimburse for police and overtime costs, she suggested this not be made a condition until staff <br /> reports to Council on the recommendations/policies for all such events. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico referred to Item 4i and asked for clarification on the walkway. <br /> <br />-- Ms. Acosta suggested continuing this item so that staff could look into the ponding on <br /> the walkway and report to Council at a later time. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if he had a conflict of interest in voting on Item 4r because he is a <br /> member of the Downtown Association. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush answered that it would be appropriate for him to abstain on Item 4r. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: Councilmember Pico, Item 4r <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver presented the commendation to Joyce Getty for her community services. <br /> <br /> 5. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Brad Hirst, Centennial Celebration Chairperson, gave a status report on the City's <br /> Birthday Party Weekend (June 18 & 19).
