There being no further testimony, Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Ms. Scribner asked if the Veilas were willing to pay $18,000 for the additional 5'1" <br /> <br /> Mr. Veila answered no and explained that he had spent $2500-$5000 trying to solve this <br />problem. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Molar, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to approve the application of <br />Ron and Kay Vella for a major modification to an approved PUD development plan as filed <br />under Case PUD-85-15-4M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver was concerned in taking sides with one or the other of the parties <br />involved. He wished that the parties could have come to an agreement. He preferred to <br />continue this item to allow the parties to further negotiate. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico agreed with Mayor Tarver's comments. <br /> <br /> It was decided by Council to continue this item to later this evening to allow the parties <br />further time to negotiate. <br /> <br />Item 7b <br />AP-94-03. This determination iS related to specific development application for <br />201 Spring Street, (SR94:144) <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> In response to Council's questions, Mr. Swift stated that this use would be classified as <br />Light Industrial. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr inquired about the possibility of granting a conditional use permit for a certain <br />number of years. She was concerned with approving such a permit and later finding that it no <br />longer related with the other businesses in the area. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush stated that was possible and at the end of that time, the applicant would need <br />to reapply for an extension of the conditional use permit. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarvet declared the public hearing open on the application. <br /> <br /> Steve Grimes, R & S Lawn Services, described the area where the proposed business <br />would be located. Mr. Grimes briefly explained the history of this application and the changes <br />that he has made to his plans to accommodate the planning department.
