Ms. Scribner presented the proclamation to Skip Mohatt and the Amador Valley High <br /> School Civics Class. <br /> <br /> Skip Mohatt, Amador Valley High School, thanked Council and introduced each member <br /> of the Class. Mr. Mohatt described the Class and its activities. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr presented a commendation to Dagmar Fulton for her work on the Pleasanton <br /> History Book. <br /> <br /> Ms. Fulton spoke about the history book and explained how and where she researched <br /> all of the information to write it. Ms. Fulton commended Herbert Hagemann for his <br /> contribution to writing the book and also thanked Geneveive Fraser and Bob Lane for their help. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis presented Mr. Hagemann with his commendation. Mr. Hagemann thanked <br /> Council and added that he enjoyed working with Ms. Fulton in creating this book. <br /> <br /> Brad Hirst, Centennial Celebration Chairperson, thanked Ms. Fulton and Mr. Hagemann <br /> for writing this book and presented each of them with a framed Centennial poster. Mr. Hirst <br /> added that the History Book is available from the Historical Society Museum and at <br /> McWhorter's for $5.00. <br /> <br />- 5. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Moller Property Driveway Improvement Plans <br /> <br /> David Glenn, 5650 Foothill Road, appealed the approval by the Planning Department of <br /> a private access roadway improvement to serve the Joel/Greist property. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift explained that the Council reviewed this driveway in conjunction with the <br /> Moller Properties subdivision. The final design of the driveway improvements, however, were <br /> not reached at that time. Staff has reviewed the plans and administratively approved the <br /> improvements. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico also appealed the driveway improvement project, referring it to the Planning <br /> Commission. <br /> <br /> Neal/Rose/Maln Streets Tritffi~ Signal <br /> <br /> Angelina Summers, 4750 Sutter Gate Avenue, requested that the blinking red traffic <br /> signal located at Neal/Rose/Maln Streets be reactivated as a normal operating signal. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis was concerned that it may be too soon after Council took action to make the <br /> signal a red blinking light.
