Ms. Mohr felt that this plan would be of great help to the General Plan Steering
Committee because it clearly states what this Council prioritizes and the kind of policies this
Council would like to see come out of the Steering Committee. She believed that the Steering
Committee should be aware of the policies that Council is promoting and referring the County.

Mr. Pico disagreed. He felt that this should be a community based approach rather than
a dictated approach by Council. Mayor Tarvet and Ms. Dennis agreed.

Mr. Swift described the inconsistencies between the County' s plan and Pleasanton's plan.

It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Mr. Pico, authorizing staff to forward
a letter to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors expressing the city's concerns regarding
the ECAP.

The roll c.~ll vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

7, PUBLIC HEARINGS

Item 7a
Reversion of Subdivided ProDert_v (Tract 6697. A-M Homes) to Acreage (SR94:34)

Roger I-Iigdon presented the staff report.

Mr. Tarver declared the public hearing open on the application.

Tom Quaglia, A-M Homes, 577 Salmar Avenue, Campbell, concurred with staff
recommendations. He appreciated all of the work that staff, the Park District and title
companies had put into this project. He requested Council's approval.

Marti Greist, 5470 Foothill Road, asked how the reversion would effect the PUD. She
noted that she was not interested in anybody trying to condemn any of her property.

Mr. Roush explained that if Council approves this application, the land would be returned
to acreage but the zoning would not change.

Mr. Swift described the conditions of approval for the PUD zoning, the development
plan, and lot line adjustment which had been approved in 1992.

02/01/94 6
