Ms. Scribner requested that items 4i, 4j and 4k be removed from the Consent Calendar.
She felt that the policies that Council established should be followed. She reiterated that any
Councilmember may, with the consent of a majority, place an item on the agenda under Matters
Initiated by Councilmembers. Ms. Scribner suggested moving these items to the February 15,
1994 City Council agenda if the majority of Council wished to do so.

Mr. Roush read the policy that Ms. Scribner referred to and agreed that the policy would
apply not only to these items, but also to item 4b.

Mayor Tarver believed that the policy should be changed to reflect proclamations.

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to move items 4b, 4i, 4j and
4k to the February 15, 1994 agenda under Matters Initiated by Councilmembers.

Th~ r011 call v0~e was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

4, CONSENT CALENDAR

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that the following actions
be taken on the Consent Calendar, as mended:

a.
