Mayor Tarver asked if the Ruby Hill residents will pay more or less than Pleasanton residents for sewer services. He then asked if there was an agreement with Signature Properties regarding infiltration programs or other associated costs. Mayor Tarver was concerned that the agreement sets up potentially multiple rates for services. Mr. Cusenza stated that there is a possibility that they will pay more. Crhe agreement provides that the Ruby Hill residents cannot pay less). He further explained that this agreement does address the concern Mayor Tarver has regarding infiltration programs, etc. Mr. Pico suggested that staff negotiate an agreement with Signature Properties to incorporate in the CC&R's or notice that the residents there will be paying more that Pleasanton residents. It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to approve the agreement with City of Livermore for wastewater treatment and disposal services from the Ruby Hill Project. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None $, MATI'ERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL Ms. Scribner pointed out that the committee that has been reviewing the Council's policies will be discussing that portion of the agenda concerning Council' s introductory remarks and will be reporting to Council in the near future. Ms. Dennis asked when the ordinance regarding campaign financing reform will be considered. Mr. Roush responded it would be coming to Council for consideration in March. Mayor Tarvet announced that a call-in talk show regarding the General Plan will be televised on Channel 30, January 25, 1994 (7:30-8:30 p.m.). Mayor Tarvet inquired about the status of General Plan survey and urged staff to expedite the matter. Ms. Acosta indicated that the RFP is due for the consultant on January 21, 1994 and will be on the City Council the February 1, 1994 agenda. 01/18/94 11
