MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 4, 1995 <br /> <br />1, CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Special Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2, ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. F..zidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Becky Dennis, Sharrell Miehelotti, Kafin Mohr, Thomas P. Pico, <br />lr. and Mayor Ben Tarvet. Staff members present were: Deborah Aeosta, City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; and Randall A. Lum, Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />3, AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />4, STATUS R~PORT QF ~OINT PLANNING PROCESS AND PROPOSED PLAN FOR <br /> SAN FRANCISCO WATER DEPARTMENT PROPERTY ON BERNAL AVENUE <br /> <br /> B~an Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked about the twenty acre park extending into the trail area. She asked <br /> if that counts as part of the twenty acres. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said the Wail area does not count. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarvet asked how much parking would be needed for the twenty acre park. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift replied he did not know. He felt it would be dependent upon the kind of uses <br /> that would take place there. The twenty acre park that was discussed in conjunction with the <br /> North Pleasanton park could accommodate three softball fields, a soccer field, an open space <br /> field, bathrooms and parking in conjunction with some perimeter trail. <br /> <br /> 12/04/95 -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
