It was moved by Mayor Tarver, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to direct thc Liaison <br />Committee to indicate to the Fair Board that Council expects the owner of the golf driving range <br />to process through the City an application for the installation of the lights on the golf course <br />driving range; if that does not succeed, it will be placed on a future agenda. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: Councilmember - Michelotti and Mohr <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />8, TRANSFER OF CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE FROM VIACOM CABLE TO TELE <br /> -COMMUNICATIONS. INC. (TCD (SR 95:380) <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked that staff address all the non-compliance issues if there is a <br />difference of opinion about compliance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to allow a two week <br />extension for new language to be considered in transfer of control agreement. <br /> <br />The roll Call vQte was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />9. STATUS REPORT ON EBDA/LAVWMA NEGOTIATIONS (SR 95:388) <br /> Randall Lum presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico was not willing to consider a larger pipeline unless he knows that DSRSD does <br />not have the fight to condemn that excess capacity and use it for future growth without any <br />limits or controls. Until some other issues are settled, let LAVWlVIA plan to do the 21 MGD <br />line. If LAVWMA and EBDA reach agreement, we can decide to expand that pipeline if we <br />want. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said LAVWMA staff has stated that the Council has to make a decision <br />in December concerning the size of the replacement pipe. That leaves a month to talk about the <br />size of the pipeline. Are you relating this to the EBDA agreement? <br /> <br /> 11/28/95 -15- <br /> <br /> <br />
