LAVWMA/EBDA Negotiations <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked when the LAVWMA/EBDA negotiations and modifications to the <br />agreement will be coming before the Council. A group of individuals did sit down and try to <br />hammer out what it would be like or what might be recommended. One option is going before <br />LAVWMA tomorrow night and that might lead to significant debate. It won't lead to a decision <br />because we can't vote without it coming back to Council and getting some direction. He felt <br />uncomfortable because he is trying to represent a Council position that hasn't been taken yet. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta thought everyone would be in the same position, since the other members <br />won't see it until tomorrow night. <br /> <br />4. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Council adjourned to a closed session at 10:05 p.m. to confer with legal counsel <br />regarding pending litigation (Alameda County_ Land Use Association v. City_ of Ha_vward. <br /> <br />6.
