MATTERS CONTINUED

Item A
PUD-95-03~ Lynden Homes (SR 95:348)

(Council held a public hearing on this matter at its October 17, 1995 meeting but
continued the decision on the matter due to the lateness of the hour.)

Brian Swif~ presented a brief recap of the application.

Mayor Tarver asked if Rose Avenue was to be completed in the near future.

Mr. Swif~ replied that Rose Avenue has been shown on the General Plan as extended to
Valley Avenue for some time and that is still the recommendation. The Fair Board has been in
opposition to the extension through its property. The matter is on the list of items to be discussed
by the Liaison Committee in the future. At this time, he could not say if the road will be straight
or curved in some manner.

Councilmember Pico indicated he was not happy with the proposed site plan that shows
the flag lots. He believed there needs to be provision for the extension of Rose Avenue, even
though it is not certain how that will occur. He did like the site plan for lots along the arroyo with

10/24/95
Page 1
