(SR95:305) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked why a microbrewery would not be considered a conditional use like <br />bars and pubs? <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift stated a microbrewery has a different level of intensity of use than a typical <br />brew pub. It is a place where liquor is brewed with no consumption on the premises (except <br />for tastings). Sales are handled like a retail store and it is not open in the evening. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti questioned if a microbrewery/ale house combination had to go through <br />the conditional use permit process. <br /> <br />09/19/95 -6- <br /> <br /> <br />
