Zoning for the property is R-1-6,500 District. (SR95:327) <br /> <br /> This item was continued to the 10/3/95 agenda. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />Approval of ArchiteCtural Design of Aquatic Center Project. (SR95:319) <br /> <br /> Dolores Bengtson presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked if the parking spaces were thirty feet from the back wall of the homes <br />or from the fence, and if that is the distance from the existing portion of the parking lot? <br /> <br /> Ms. Bengtson stated the parking lot would be thirty feet from the fence. The existing <br />parking lot is fifty feet from that. It actually moves into the area of the existing parking lot and <br />the fence. It puts two widths of parking with a road in between. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr questioned if the pine trees were on the acceptable street tree/landscaping list? <br /> <br /> Ms. Bengtson stated she did not know but could check on it. Those trees are not put in <br />by the City because they have a short life. The trees were put in when the aquatic center was <br />first built. <br /> <br /> David Petta, Elbasani and Logan, architects, presented the proposed plan.
