Ms. Acosta presented the staff report. Mayor Tarver felt that the Council entered into the negotiations wanting to see some changes and still live within the City's revenues while not jeopardizing any services. He felt more changes can be made and is looking forward to working with the employee organizations to see that happen. It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, that Resolution No. 95-99 be adopted, approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the International Association of Fire Fighters Association (IAFF) Local 1974, fixing salaries and conditions of employment for enumerated classes of employees, authorizing a one-time payment of $650.00 to each eligible employee represented by IAFF Local 1974, in the same manner as that payment was made to other City employees, and amending the 1995-96 budget. Ms. Acosta presented the staff report. It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 95-100 be adopted, authorizing the reporting of the City's payment of retirement contributions to certain employees represented by IAFF Local 1974 as special compensation.
