Mayor Tarver thanked Mr. Jones for bringing this issue to the Council's attention. He
stated that the Council is interested in any changes to the land use on the fairgrounds which
interest has been communicated to the Board of Supervisors and the Fair Board. He would like
to see the issue put on the agenda but he didn't want to usurp the prerogative of the Liaison
Committee to discuss it with the Fair Board.

Robert Cordtz, 262 West Angela, stated that he had a problem with the City ordinance
that leaves the fairgrounds out of the loop. He felt the fairgrounds can make as much noise as
it wants even though there have been complaints filed with the Police Department. He wanted
to be sure this was brought up to the Committee.

Mayor Tarver asked if there was a date set for the Liaison Committee to meet.

Ms. Michelotti stated that the Committee will be meeting before September 1, 1995.
Agenda Items

Mayor Tarver stated that Items 4a and 4b, have been continued indefinitely.
