Mayor Tarver stated since there were no objections that it would be put on a future <br /> agenda. He stated it may be time to change the process even though at the time the Council felt <br /> it was imperative that it be given this review. <br /> <br /> Item 6a <br /> PUD-81-3048D, Britannia Development <br /> Application for deSign review approval to allow the construction of a one-story, 69,500 <br /> so_uare foot office/induStrial flex use building On a 5.95 acre parcel. (SR95:222) <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver opened the public heating. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ed Choi, 2415 Mariner Square, architect for the project, stated he had reviewed the <br /> concerns about the back of the building and the outdoor eating area. The color was fine, but <br /> the only place that an outdoor eating area could be built is at the south end of the building. The <br /> owner is negotiating with a tenant to take over that end of the building. The owner does not <br /> have a problem making that an eating area if he is able to take over that area. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, the Mayor closed the public heating. <br /> <br />-- Mr. Pico stated that he concurred with the proposed changes the architect has made and <br /> felt it enhanced the appearance of the building. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr stated that it appears that this will be of comparable quality to other projects <br /> in the Business Park. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 95-82, <br /> approving the application of Britannia Development for design review approval to allow <br /> construction of a 69,500 sq. ft. single-story office/service building located at 5720 Stoneridge <br /> Drive, including the revised color scheme for the back of the building and leaving staff the <br /> option to work with the tenants and the landlord with respect to an outdoor eating area. <br /> <br /> The roll Call vote was as followS: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarvet <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> 08/01/95 -4- <br /> <br /> <br />
