He stated that for two years the Association has tried to get the <br /> abutment removed on the Bernal bridge. If removed, 40 homes will be taken out of a flood <br /> zone. He stated that $90,000 has been approved for this project through Zone 7, the De Silva <br /> Group and the City. He stated that the abutment supports the bridge and the second support was <br /> built on top of it, so the removal depends on some structural analysis.
