Mr. Baker stated Viacom started in Livermore and is working its way to Pleasanton. It <br />will start the cable construction in Pleasanton late this fall and he anticipates that the City of <br />Pleasanton will have new channels in the late spring of 1996. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico stated that he appreciated Viacom's support of the community. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta stated staff could draft a letter of appreciation for the Mayor to send to <br />Viatom. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to order a rate refund for <br />Viaeom Cable's basic service rates for the period 7/18/94 to 7/18/95. <br /> <br />The r011 c~l vOt¢ was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Michelotti, Mohr, Pico and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Dennis <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Actions of the Zoning Administrator (IR95:39) <br /> <br /> Report accepted. <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />Proposed amendments to Park~ and Recreation Facilities Ordinance concerning persons in <br />park facilities other than during "daylight" and concernin~ possession of alcoholic bevera_~es <br />in park facilities. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dolores Bengston delivered the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver questioned the statement that no person shall be or remain in the park <br />except when the facility has been posted limiting access to hours other than daylight. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush stated that if the facility would only be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., then <br />it would be open to the public during daytime hours but other than during daylight because <br />daylight is defined as 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that Ordinance 1659 be <br />introduced. <br /> <br />07/18/95 -18- <br /> <br /> <br />
