He stated it would be visible only during the day time hours. <br /> <br /> Ms. Miehelotti felt that the non-illumination is appropriate. She indicated the design of <br />the sign is complimentary to the building. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarvet felt that the Council should follow the Planning Commission <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Ordinance 1655 be <br />reintroduced to include option 2, the Planning Commission recommendation for a non- <br />illuminated sign. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: Councilmember Pico <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Review of Human Services Commission recommendation and ~nalization of FY1995/96 <br />Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding allocation (SR95: 183) <br /> <br /> Dolores Bengtson presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked if the staff recommendation is the original Human Services Commission <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis asked if staff requested The Center to restructure its request for support. <br /> <br /> Ms. Bengtson stated that she assumed that if the undesignated funds were made available <br />in some form, they would service young people. Persons could apply for those funds or the <br />programs could be funded through the General Fund. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver stated that the Tri-Valley Haven received a fantastic grant and may <br />continue to receive funds based on legislation yet it was requesting $15,000 with this proposal. <br /> <br />06/06/95 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
