The r011 call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, and Mohr <br /> NOES: Councilmember Pico and Mayor Tarver <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6b <br /> AP-95-4 (PUD-92-4-1M), Chu/Standard Pacific (SR95: 173) <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico stated that he was the Councilmember that appealed the Zoning Administrator' s <br /> decision. He stated that he subsequently met with Standard Pacific representatives and he is now <br /> comfortable with the changes it wants to make. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. There being no testimony, the public <br /> hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 95-59 be <br /> adopted, denying the Council appeal (AP-95-4) and upholding the approval of the Zoning <br /> Administrator of the application of Standard Pacific for a minor modification of the approved <br /> development plan and requirements for "Village One", as filed under case PLID-92-4-1M. <br /> <br /> The r011 tall vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Item 6c <br /> PUD-85-8-4D-2M - Consideration of second reading of Ordinance No. 1655 and review of <br /> the si_~naEe for Chevv's Restaurant (SR95:189) <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr stated that when this sign was proposed before, the Council did not have <br /> anything pictorial to show what it was like. She had previously been concerned about the colors <br /> and size. Since that time, she had visited the site and now approved the signage. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hugh Murphy, of Fredric C. Divine and Associates (the architects for the project), <br /> addressed the signage on the road facing the freeway. Chevy's has asked for the three foot sign <br /> complying with City approved guidelines. He stated that BART is now in the process of <br /> building its facility in the median strip and the 26 foot sign that Chevy's now has will be <br /> severely limited in the westbound direction. Mr. Murphy stated that the Chevy's sign will be <br />_ consistent with the signage that is already in place.
